China sells most US Treasurys since October '16

Since last week after a dismal 10-year Treasury auction, there has been renewed speculation whether China may sell its U.S. debt in retaliation for increased tariffs on $200 billion of its exports to the United States.

US lawmakers review control board's role in Puerto Rico

U.S. lawmakers are reviewing the work of a federal control board created by Congress to oversee Puerto Rico's finances amid complaints from some officials that it is ineffective and has cost the bankrupt U.S. territory's government millions of dollars in operating expenses.
