McDonald's CEO to meet with Chicago family amid criticism of his texts to mayor

McDonald's CEO, Chris Kempczinksi is under fire for a text he sent to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot about the death of two Chicago children earlier this year. Adam Toledo, 13, was shot and killed by Chicago police in March. Less than one month later, 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams was shot and killed while sitting inside the car with her father at a McDonald's drive-thru lane.

Starbucks union vote to kick off at 3 Buffalo, New York, locations

The National Labor Relations Board, which approved the vote last month, will start mailing ballots on Wednesday evening and count the votes on Dec. 9. Approximately 111 of the coffee chain's workers will decide on whether they would like to be represented by Workers United, an affiliate of the Service Employees International Union.
