Japan-based electronic company Panasonic reiterated its relationship with Huawei after an earlier statement said it was suspending transactions with Huawei due to the Trump administration imposing a sales ban on Huawei Technologies, a report stated.

Chinese tech giant Huawei could be cutting ties with American chip makers and suppliers, resorting to using a different provider.

Google halted plans to bar Huawei’s access to some Android services after the U.S. Commerce Department granted Monday a 90-day license for companies and Internet providers to coordinate with the Chinese tech giant in an effort to help existing customers, a report said. 

The Trump administration is looking to curb the U.S. operations of the Chinese firm.

Huawei Technologies Co Ltd will immediately lose access to updates to the Android operating system, and the next version of its smartphones outside of China will also lose access to popular applications and services including the Google Play Store and Gmail app.
