Elon Musk may be having fun in Texas – expanding another company, The Boring Co., into the state, according to local reports.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has moved his private foundation from California to Texas, according to a certificate of merger filing with the Texas Secretary of State in October. 

The tunnel construction company has posted several new job openings based in Austin, Texas, including an electrical engineer, a lead electric technician, a mechanical engineer, a senior mechanical engineer, a power electronics engineer, a business development lead and a lead technical recruiter. 

According to the LCVA, the Vegas Loop will consist of underground tunnels stretching as far north as downtown Las Vegas, throughout the Strip corridor, and as far south as the Allegiant Stadium, pending approval later this week by the Stadium Authority, the owner of the stadium.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has unveiled the first render of the transportation hub for the Boring Company's Las Vegas Loop, a underground tunnel system designed to zip passengers from one side of the Las Vegas Convention Center to the other in under two minutes. 

Once the company completes the Las Vegas tunnel, its first commercial project, it will begin to work on others, Musk said.

The $52.5 million project, which is expected to be completed in Jan. 2021, will move passengers within its three stations in about a minute.
