Hilary Swank's New York condo hits the market for $6M

Swank purchased the home in 2009 for $3.64M

Hilary Swank is ready to say goodbye to her New York home.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo, found on the 16th floor of the famed Superior Ink Building in Manhattan, is now on sale for $6.6 million, with Chris Kann and Jennifer Ireland of The Corcoran Group. The home is the second-highest two-bedroom condo in the building, topped only by the penthouse suite.

In addition to incredible views of the Empire State Building and the West Village, the home features high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and plenty of natural light.

Accessed through a separate hallway, the entry leads to the living room, which includes a Juliet balcony looking over the city. The home's open floor plan allows for easy access from the living room to the kitchen, with a dining table nestled in between.

The two-time Academy Award-winner bought the home in December 2009 for $3.64 million and enlisted interior designer Mark Zeff to customize it to her taste. Per Curbed.com, Swank wanted the home to have "a strong modern sensibility," with the redesign incorporating art from the 1960s and 1970s, and "softly weathered barn wood reclaimed from a Pennsylvania farm."

In addition to the dining room table, the living room and kitchen are separated by an island, which is perfect for entertaining guests.

The kitchen features state-of-the-art Viking and Subzero appliances, including two ovens, a dishwasher and a farmhouse sink. Much like the rest of the home, the kitchen boasts big windows with great views of the city and the Hudson River.

The home's primary bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and both a standing shower and a bathtub, providing anyone who uses it with a luxurious experience. In addition, the room offers a separate walk-in closet, with plenty of space for all your belongings.

A second bathroom is found near the second bedroom and can be used as a guest bathroom. The second bedroom, currently being used as an office, features built in shelving with plenty of natural light to brighten up the room.

As well as the amenities inside the unit, the building itself features many resources. It features a full-time concierge and doorman, a valet parking garage, a full gym, Pilates and yoga studio, a party room with its own kitchen, a screening room and a cycling room.

Situated in the heart of the West Village, the home is just moments away from some of the city's highlights, including the Whitney Museum, Little Island and Highline Parks, Chelsea Market and many restaurants and cafés.

Swank welcomed fraternal twins, daughter Aya and son Ohm, with her husband, Philip Schneider, in April 2023.
