Airbus, AerCap Seal Deal for 50 A320neo Aircrafts
Airbus SE (AIR.FR) and Irish aircraft leasing company AerCap Holdings NV (AER) have signed an agreement for the purchase of fifty A320neo Family aircrafts, the companies said on Thursday.
The companies said the French plane maker will start delivering the aircrafts to Aercap from 2022.
This transaction brings AerCap's firm orders for the single-aisle aircraft to a total of 270, the companies said.
"We have seen significant market appetite for these aircraft from our diverse customer base," AerCap's Chief Executive Aengus Kelly said.
No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
