The Internal Revenue Service gets a bad rap. Commissioner John Koskinen even admitted as much in a speech last month at the National Press Club. He also stated recent budget cuts will mean the agency will “close fewer audit and collection cases” resulting in $2 billion of lost revenue for the government.
