How: As a paralegal, Taisa Parente was often researching trips to take a break from her desk job. When a co-worker asked for help in planning a vacation, Parente said she realized it was something she could do to start her own business.

Relax-n-travel books travel and hotel accommodations for customers looking for a vacation without the worry of overbooked hotels and other hassles.

“Relax-n-travel takes the stress out of travel to make vacations relaxing,” Parente said.

She added that unlike some small travel agencies, her business “books everything” rather than specialize in one thing. As for the future of Relax-n-travel, Parente would like to book more business trips.
