United Tech Posts 2Q Beat

United Technologies revealed second-quarter earnings of $1.84 a share on sales of $17.2 billion, topping estimates of profits of $1.71 a share on revenues of $16.8 billion. Shares of the industrial conglomerate will little changed in early trading.
