Taco Bell rolls out new Buffalo chicken fries — but only for a limited time

You can get them wrapped in a burrito

Taco Bell has a spicy new treat: Buffalo Chicken fries.

The restaurant chain, which hit its seventh consecutive year of positive same-store sales growth in 2018, announced that in addition to its acclaimed Nacho Fries it’s offering the new snack for a limited time. Both will launch at participating U.S. stores Jan. 30.

The Buffalo fries are topped with shredded cheese and chicken, pico de gallo, sour cream and “drizzled with Taco Bell’s first tangy buffalo sauce,” the company said in a statement.

The fries will be served a la carte for $2.99 or in a burrito for the same price.

Taco Bell is looking to capitalize on the success of new food items. Its Nacho fries “have been a fan-favorite” since their debut in 2018 and are now returning to menus across the country.

TACO BELL WILL PAY SOME WORKERS $100,000 THIS YEAR

The move comes just after another big announcement from the brand, in which it said it will pay some managers $100,000 a year compared to the approximate $46,600 standard.
