Abbott Raises Quarterly Dividend To 24 Cents a Share From 22 Cents

Abbott said Friday it is raising its quarterly dividend to 24 cents a share from 22 cents. The health care company said the new dividend will be payable Feb. 13, 2015 to shareholders of record as of Jan. 15. Shares are down 0.6%, but have gained about 16% in the year so far, while the S&P 500 has gained about 10%.
