Amazon, Google trading suspended on NYSE, proceeding elsewhere
Trading of Amazon (AMZN), both classes of Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), Booking Holdings (BKNG) and Zion Oil & Gas equity warrants have been suspended for trading for the day on the New York Stock Exchange because of a data problem.
The data problem stems from a price scale code issue, and open orders in the securities will be canceled, Reuters reported.
While action on the NYSE has been suspended, the shares continue to trade elsewhere.
A spokeswoman for the NYSE, Kristen Kaus, told Reuters that the trading was suspended to minimize the impact on customers.
