Average price for gasoline in West Virginia fall 5 cents this week to $3.51 per gallon
Gasoline prices fell about 5 cents in West Virginia this week.
AAA East Central says the average price for a gallon of regular was $3.51. That's about 8 cents less per gallon compared with the same week a year ago.
Prices range from about $3.36 in Huntington to $3.61 in Morgantown.
Nationally, gas prices average $3.47 this week, down about 2 cents from the previous week.
Officials say prices continued their downward trend despite high-profile conflicts in overseas oil producing countries and declining domestic refinery production.
