'Birdman' Wins Best Picture Oscar, Takes Four Awards

"Birdman" did the expected and narrowly beat "Boyhood" for the best-picture Oscar at Sunday's Academy Awards. The offbeat tale of a Hollywood action star who tries to make a comeback in a Broadway play won four Oscars in all, taking prizes for directing, screenplay and cinematography. Eddie Redmayne was named best actor for his role in "The Theory of Everything" while Julianne Moore won best actress honors for her role as an Alzheimer's patient in "Still Alice."
