Flight diverts to Boston due to unruly passenger
A British Airways flight has been diverted to Boston's Logan International Airport because of an unruly passenger.
The flight originated in London and was heading to Orlando when it was diverted Thursday afternoon.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Massachusetts State Police removed the 24-year-old man from the plane.
State police say they will be summonsing him for interfering with the flight crew.
The unidentified man is from Glasgow, Scotland.
In a statement Thursday night, British Airways apologized to those affected by the incident, saying "disruptive behavior will not be tolerated."
The flight was able to continue on to Orlando a short time later.
