Gold Futures Settle Higher, Near $1,265/oz

Gold futures settled with a modest gain on Wednesday to recoup part of the more than 1% loss they suffered a day earlier. April gold tacked on $4.20, or 0.3%, to settle at $1,264.50 an ounce on Comex. March silver also climbed by more than 7 cents, or 0.4%, to settle at $17.395 an ounce.
