Hewlett-Packard Unveils New Line Up Of Notebooks, PCs
Hewlett-Packard Co. said Wednesday it was unveiling more than a dozen new personal computing products, including new premium PCs and a gaming notebook. The company said its new lineup of 2-and-1s, notebooks and all-in-one desktop PCs include the latest chips from Intel Corp. and Microsoft Corp.'s latest Windows 10 operating system. H-P's new Pavilion Gaming notebook, which has a 15.6-inch screen and includes graphics chips from Nvidia Corp. , will start at $899.99. "Serious gamers want high end performance that delivers truly amazing experiences in a package with edgy designs but at a price point that does not break the bank," said Kevin Frost, general manager of consumer personal systems. The stock, which was still inactive in premarket trade, has tumbled 30% year to date while the S&P 500 has slipped 3.8%.
