Hillary Clinton Says She Opposes TPP Trade Deal

Hillary Clinton said Wednesday she opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade deal strongly backed by President Barack Obama. "As of today, I am not in favor" of the 12-nation agreement, the Democratic presidential front-runner told PBS. Clinton said the deal, struck earlier this week, doesn't meet her standards for creating jobs and raising wages. The deal, which will lower trade barriers among member countries, will go to U.S. lawmakers for a vote.
