Natural Gas Holds Gains As Supply Data Comes In Line

U.S. stockpiles of natural gas declined by 17 billion cubic feet on the week ended Nov. 14, the Energy Information Administration said Thursday. Analysts surveyed by Platts had expected natural-gas supplies to decline between 9 bcf to 13 bcf for the week. Natural-gas futures rose sharply on the data, but returned to modest gains more recently. The December contract was up 4 cents, or 0.9%, to $4.55 per million British thermal units.
