Orlando, Florida, airport expands reach into Latin America with routes to Peru, Brazil

Orlando International Airport is expanding its reach into Latin America.

Airport officials on Friday announced new routes to Brasilia, Brazil, and Lima, Peru.

The Orlando-Brasilia route will be TAM Airlines' second route between Orlando and a Brazilian city. The airline already flies between the theme park mecca and Sao Paolo.

The new route between Orlando and Brazil's capital will fly daily.

LAN Peru will fly the route between Orlando and Lima. It's an affiliate of LAN Airlines, and that route also will fly daily.
