Report: Over 57,000 Federal Workers Paid Not To Work

More than 57,000 federal government employees were paid while they were sent home for at least a month over the last three years, The Washington Post reported, citing a forthcoming report by the Government Accountability Office. The article said these workers were sent home for a variety of reasons, including alleged violations of government rules and laws, whistleblowing, doubts about trustworthiness and disputes with colleagues or bosses.
