Stocks Dip, Recover Following Fed's FOMC Minutes
U.S. stocks swung into negative territory and bounced back after the Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee minutes from mid-March revealed that several officials were leaning toward a June rate hike. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fluctuated between slight gains and losses after the minutes after being up as much as 100 point earlier in the session. After dipping into the red, the Dow was up 44 points at 17,919 at least check. The S&P 500 Index rose 8 points to 2,085. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 41 points to 4,951.
