Stocks Open Little Changed Ahead Of More Yellen Testimony

NEW YORK – U.S. stocks opened little changed on Tuesday as investors were cautious ahead of another day of testimony by Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen. Downbeat results from Hewlett-Packard Inc. weighed on technology stocks. Earnings reports from retailers, such as Target, Lowe's and Dollar Tree are also likely to grab investor attention. The S&P 500 opened off a point at 2,113.67. The Dow Jones Industrial Average began the session flat at 18,204.88. The Nasdaq Composite was off by 10 points, or 0.2%, at 4,957.60.
