Take-Two Shares Rise After Fourth-quarter Earnings Beat
Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. shares rose in the extended session Monday after the video game publisher topped Wall Street earnings estimates. Take-Two shares advanced 6% to $25.65 on moderate volume. The company reported adjusted fourth-quarter earnings of 49 cents a share on revenue of $300.1 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated 28 cents a share on revenue of $465.5 million. Take-Two forecast adjusted earnings of 25 cents to 35 cents a share on revenue of $325 million to $350 million for the fiscal first quarter, and 75 cents to $1 a share on revenue of $1.3 billion to $1.4 billion for the year. Analysts expect 1 cent a share on revenue of $207.2 million for the first quarter, and $1.21 a share on revenue of $1.49 billion for the year.
