U.S. Stocks End Slightly Lower, On Pace For Weekly Drop | Fox Business

U.S. stocks closed with small losses Thursday after bouncing back from a deeper drop. The decline was blamed in part on continuing worries about Greece, concerns about potential U.S. interest-rate hikes and a slide by Chinese stocks. The S&P 500 lost 2.69 points, or 0.1%, to finish at 2,120.79, according to preliminary data. The benchmark is on pace for a weekly pullback of less than 0.3%. The Dow industrials shed 36.87 points, or 0.2%, to end at 18,126.12, while the Nasdaq fell 8.62 points, or 0.2%, to 5,097.98, retreating from Wednesday's record close.
