U.S. Weekly Oil, Natural-gas Rig Count Down 20: Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes reported that the number of U.S. rigs actively drilling for oil and natural gas as of Thursday fell 20 rigs from last week to 1,028. The count is down 790 rigs from last year. The number of oil rigs fell 11 for the week to 802. May oil was last at $48.75, down $1.34, or 2.6%, amid news that a tentative Iran nuclear deal has been reached.
