Wells Fargo reports most banking services have been restored
Wells Fargo says systems are back up and running following an outage that wreaked havoc on the bank after customers were unable to use mobile banking, ATMs and some credit cards for most of Thursday.
Some Wells Fargo customers told FOX Business on Friday they are finding it difficult to conduct all of their transactions, the day after a major systems outage.
Customers on social media were saying that they were having trouble seeing paychecks or accessing direct deposits.
In a statement to FOX Business on Friday, the bank notes that customers may experience some delays as the systems come back online.

Mobile and Online Banking systems are operational, with the exception of some features, such as consumer credit card and mortgage balances, that were still being restored. Customers can use Wells Fargo credit and debit cards for purchases. Bank branches are operational.
The outage stemmed from smoke being reported at one of the bank's facilities and a powering down of select systems, according to Wells Fargo. KULR-TV in Montana had reported that a bank employee said the outage was a result of a fire at a server farm located in Shoreview, Minnesota. As a result of the fire the servers had to be shut down, the bank employee reportedly said.

Wells Fargo said it apologized for the inconvenience caused by these system issues and that any Wells Fargo fees incurred as a result of these issues will be reversed.
