Sajak has had the mic for the nighttime game show since the early 1980s, with Vanna White by his side. The pair re-signed with the show in a contract that expires in 2022, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sajak is reportedly worth $65 million, making him one of the richest TV show hosts in 2019, according to TheRichest.com.

CelebrityNetWorth.com reported Sajak earns a yearly salary of $15 million.

Sajak and White spend four days a month taping the show, going through six shows each day, according to the outlet.

At one time, Sajak also hosted the "Pat Sajak Baseball Hour" radio show, according to Good Housekeeping, which reported he holds a directorial position at Eagle Publishing.

He also chairs the board of directors at Hillsdale College in Michigan.

In November, Sajak was hospitalized after suffering “horrific pain” in his stomach.

“I didn't know what it [was] but within two and a half hours, I was in surgery,” he said told ABC's "Good Morning America" after the scare. Doctors later discovered Sajak had a blocked intestine.
