Bar Rescue’s Jon Taffer: Trump a Big Win For Small Business

Donald Trump won the presidential election and now he may turn small business owners into winners as well by promising to make good on his plans reduce regulations and taxes.

“The impact on small business, the potential elimination of Obamacare, the reduction of regulatory issues not only provides a greater door to profitability, but more people are going to enter small business, more profits are going to be made.  This is exciting,” ‘Bar Rescue’ host Jon Taffer told FOX Business Network’s Stuart Varney.

Taffer reacted specifically to the mounting burden of Obamacare on small businesses, as well as their employees.

“Not only has it been a thorn in our businesses’ operators Stuart, but our employees have been hit with high deductibles and it’s impacted their income as well.  So you bet this is big.”

The restaurant industry, which some believe is in a downturn, may have the opportunity to reignite business.

“Some analysts were saying we were facing a restaurant recession looking into 2017, this might change that.”

Shares of casual dining chains including Panera Bread (NASDAQ:PNRA), Chipotle (NYSE:CMG) and McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD), are all lower for the year.
