Mnuchin slams comedian Michelle Wolf over White House roast
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said comedian Michelle Wolf’s jokes at the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) dinner were no laughing matter.
“Highly, highly inappropriate,” Mnuchin said to FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo during an exclusive, wide-ranging interview on “Mornings with Maria.
“I think there is a place for funny humor. This was not funny humor and I'm glad I wasn't there.”
Mnuchin’s comments come after, Wolf, a former correspondent on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” performed at Saturday nights’ WHCA dinner in Washington, roasting President Trump and members of his administration.
