Gun Cave Shooting Range Owner Jan Morgan Bans Muslims
Gun Cave Shooting Range Owner Jan Morgan is banning Muslims from her Hot Springs, Ark. establishment. She says Islam is not a religion protected by the Constitution, but rather a terrorist organization commanding followers to kill.
“A number of people around the world have sided with me and stood with us on this,” Morgan told FOX Business Network’s Trish Regan during an appearance on The Intelligence Report.
She says the reason she made her decision is because she is personally responsible for the safety and security of her customers while they are handling and shooting firearms. Morgan also noted there are 109 verses of the Quran that dictate hate, murder and terror against all people who refuse to submit or convert to Islam.
“…If you are a Muslim, then you have made a conscious decision to align with Islam, and surely you have read the Quran…I’m going to air on the side of caution for the safety of my customers. I can’t hand you a loaded gun if you agree with those verses.”
Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, took issue with Morgan’s actions.
“You are true in that there’s hundreds of millions of Muslims that are in that pool of radical Islam,” he told Morgan. “But, you are alienating the very people who would be the source of the cure.”
Morgan defended her decision to turn two Hindu men away from her establishment, but she said it wasn’t because she thought they were Muslim. “They were turned away because of their erratic behavior…If there’s something about your behavior that gives us cause for concern – certainly we’re not going to let you handle lethal weapons in close proximity to other people.”
When asked if she is concerned if her rule violates The Civil Rights Act, Morgan said her club is private and therefore exempt from the legislation. She added that other private firearms-related businesses are adopting similar rules not just with Muslims, but with anyone they feel align themselves with terrorist ideology.
Jasser said Morgan’s policy is going to convey the notion that America is inhospitable to Muslims, and thus the true Muslims that believe in freedom and liberty should radicalize.
“Your strategy’s actually feeding the mantra of radicalization,” he said.
