The NCAA basketball tournament tips off this week and while athletes compete on the court, brands like Nike, Jordan, Under Armour and Adidas are vying for exposure in March Madness.

Adidas is weighing the possibility of a write-off for the outstanding Yeezy inventory the sportswear company still has, according to its latest earnings release.

The first sale of Yeezy inventory brought in $437 million for Adidas. It has been working to sell the apparel it has from its former partnership with Kanye West.

More of the outstanding Yeezy inventory that Adidas is looking to part ways with will soon go on sale. The company said Friday it would put Yeezy products up for purchase in early August.

Adidas, after once cutting ties with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West and pulling his Yeezy shoes from the market, is now selling them again.

Adidas will no longer object to a trademark application filed by the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation for a logo the company had previously claimed would be “confusingly similar."
