Boeing to restart operations at Philadelphia area plants next week
Move comes one day following announcement to open Washington plant

Planemaker Boeing will resume operations at production facilities in Philadelphia next week following a planned two-week suspension amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The company said the facilities and other essential areas would restart Monday with enhanced safety measures, including robust cleaning and signage to promote hygiene.

Hand sanitization stations have also been added at entry points to the building.
Boeing will also implement social-distancing practices, including work areas spaced further apart, staggered shift times for employees and virtual meetings where possible.
BOEING TO RESUME COMMERCIAL AIRPLANE PRODUCTION AT PUGET SOUND
Employees will be required to wear their own, or a company-provided face covering while in the workplace. Temperature checks will also be required for all employees before entering.
The company said it will continue to monitor new information and guidance related to COVID-19, adding that employees who are not essential to production its facilities and who are able to telecommute or work remotely, will continue to do so.
