'Friends' reunion special on HBO Max back on again

The "Friends" cast reunion may yet be there for you.
The on again, off again plans to reunite cast members of Friends for a special on HBO Max are back on again, according to Deadline.

Friends stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Warner Bros. TV for a one hour special.
Perry sent out a tweet earlier this week that started to stir optimism.
It would be an unscripted special that will help launch the upcoming HBO Max streaming platform.
HBO shelled out $425 million for rights to the popular sitcom, which has been one of Netflix’s biggest hits.

Deadline was unable to get anyone to comment.
Reports are that each cast member would be paid in the $3 million to $4 million range.
Talks to reunite went back and forth last fall and came to a standstill at the end of 2019.
After several weeks, negotiations reportedly started up again.
