The city that hosts the Super Bowl attracts thousands of visitors every year, and that includes football-loving, high-profile celebrities. This year, it was Miami's turn to get stormed by a sea of partying stars.

From top-charting musicians to beloved actors, models and every entertainer in between, there is a sponsored event with a famous face present. Here are a few of the most notable bankrollers that took over pre-game bashes Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Out of all the many pre-Super Bowl concerts that went down this weekend, Lady Gaga stole the show as a headliner of AT&T TV's Super Saturday Night at the Meridian on Island Gardens. Numerous famous faces attended the high-energy event to see her perform.

Rappers Fat Joe, 50 Cent and Remy Ma brought some New York flavor to the Pepsi Super Splash Pool Party on Saturday. The pre-Super Bowl concert took place at the Clevelander South Beach Hotel and Bar.

Joe performed several hits, including his Grammy-nominated songs "What's Luv?," "Lean Back" and "All the Way Up." 50 Cent followed up Joe’s performance with his own smash tunes such as: "What Up Gangsta" and "In Da Club." Ma surprised the crowd with her appearance and rapped alongside 50 Cent. Her rap star other half, Papoose, freestyled on stage as well.

DJ Khaled and rapper Flo Rida also took the stage for their own performance.

Star-studded partying is not only reserved for Saturdays. Many celebs are getting their early pre-game kicks on Sunday.

DIRECTV's NFL Sunday Ticket activation is one of many Super Bowl Sunday events that are attracting the rich and famous. This includes comedian Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish and NFL quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Dak Prescott.

And rapper Kanye West brought his Sunday Service concert event to Bayfront Park Sunday morning.

The NFL and host committees say the Super Bowl brings between $300 and $500 million to host cities, but it's not clear whether Miami has raked in that much for the event. Economist Victor Matheson has told multiple news outlets over the years that he estimates the return for hosting the big game is closer to $30 to $ 130 million.
