NBA star Steph Curry buys $8M San Francisco luxury condo

Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission St. offers swanky amenities

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has reportedly plunked down a sizeable amount of money for a condo in a ritzy tower in downtown San Francisco.

Curry paid slightly less than $8 million for the 2,800-square-foot, 30th-floor home in the Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission St., the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The family will continue to primarily live in their $31 million Atherton mansion, according to the report. But this condo is conveniently close to work for both Steph and Ayesha Curry, less than 2 miles from the Chase Center and just blocks from International Smoke, a restaurant co-owned by Ayesha Curry.

The development, which is slated to open in June of 2020, includes 146 residences in the historic Aronson Building and a 45-story tower on the city’s famous Mission Street. Promotional images of unspecified units show large bathrooms with clean white finishes, airy bedrooms with views of the bay and modern kitchens with ample wine storage.

The building also features a variety of luxurious amenities and is managed by Four Seasons staff. Its fifth level is a dedicated “club” for residents with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a gym designed by celebrity personal trainer Harley Pasternak, a lounge with a tendered bar and private dining, a game room and a landscaped terrace with fire pits, according to the developers.

The building also has an art curator and wine consultant.

At the top of the building, a 10,000-square-foot, two-level “grand penthouse” is being listed at $49 million, likely making it the most expensive condo listing in San Francisco, according to the developers. The penthouse includes 4,000-square-feet of outdoor space spread across multiple terraces.

“This project will be in a class of its own with its fine finishes and luxury amenities that make these estate homes something very special,” developer Richard Baumert said during a ceremonial construction event last November. “The beauty and distinction of the architecture of the two buildings will stand the test of time.”
